Not Red Not Blue Just Love

Hi Love Birds,

Remember that time when we didn’t have marriage equality? Outrageous, right?! When I think about the fact that at one point love was denied to some, it breaks my heart. Because of this, I need EVERYONE to know that Eight Till Eternity is for everyone! I want everyone to use their voice to make change and to make sure our brothers and sisters are heard and seen.

One of the best ways  to do that right now is registering to vote. 2020 has been a whirlwind and I know many of us feel hopeless and confused about what to do and how to feel about our country and the world in general, but this is why I am here today. I am here to remind you of the importance of the upcoming election. This is not a post to tell you who to vote for, it is strictly to tell you to vote and use your voice. We have to be loud, now more than ever. This year has taught me that there is never a right place or a right time to stand up for inequality or injustice.

I saw something the other day that struck me and encouraged me to be more vocal about issues that matter. It simply said “you’ve messed with the last generation” and maybe to some reading this it’s not the big of deal, but it is, because it shows the world that we may be young and some of us even naive but we still have a right to be here, no matter the color of our skin, our gender identity or our race. All of us have a right to be here and we have the right to have an opinion.

In order to start making your opinion notice, I’ll share with you a guide on where to start to be able to vote on this election:

First things first register to vote! Here’s the link:

Now that you have registered and you have these dates into consideration, it’s time to start educating  yourself. This is a link that has been super helpful to me Don’t be afraid to ask questions, have informative friendly debates and learn as much as you can.

I know this is a topic different from what I share on the blog, but I think it is important to show others about love, spreading love and encouraging love. Love is a universal language but today it’s being shut out. We have to get back to that leading with love. That is my main purpose here to lead with love and nothing.

No Red or Blue Just Love.
